Hi, I’m Erica Pyle! I founded Prosper Project in 2006, initially to equip and inspire people to apprehend vision and live in faith for their personal financial worlds. Our first few years we conducted personal finance seminars, mainly within church communities, where we helped people to make the connection between stepping into their God given purpose and seeing the provision of God flow into their lives. We surrounded this deeper work with practical tools and strategies related to getting out of debt, budgeting and planning, giving, saving and investing. But what we found, time and time again, is that you cannot talk about the prosperity of the Kingdom and limit the discussion to only finances. Our six session seminar series and one-day express sessions had us talking about everything from family dynamics to addictive behaviors to healing and deliverance. And so, over the years, the scope of the Project has expanded.
3 John 2 says it best – “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” That’s what the Prosper Project has grown to be about; prospering the whole person – spirit, body and soul. Prosperity is the lifestyle of the Kingdom, and we want to see people apprehending that lifestyle in the here and now, more and more. We hope you’ll enjoy the information, resources and inspiration we’ve collected and developed just for you!
Erica Pyle founded Prosper Project in 2006. Her background as a trainer-of-trainers and senior director of global tax accounting at a Fortune 500 company led her to realize that “prosperity” is a concept often wrongly defined in our society. The dream for Prosper Project started with a word from God and a heart to see people thrive. Over the last six years, Erica’s passionate, encouraging, and to-the-point style of financial coaching have helped dozens of people capture and realize their visions. Her drive to help people step into an incredible sense of partnership with God fuels every word she writes and class she teaches.
Erica has a proven background as a dynamic and effective teacher, trainer, and presenter in both the business and ministry arenas. She is a warm, captivating, and passionate speaker who has a unique ability to connect with her audience and address their needs. She is as adept at speaking to large audiences as she is to facilitating in small group settings.
Erica authored the seminar, “What Do You Want? Expanding Your Financial Vision” and has delivered the material in various small group settings to hundreds of students over the past six years. The course, rooted in Biblical truth and revelation, equips students with practical and spiritual tools to manage their financial vision, and describes and unlocks four modes of God’s provision in our lives—enough, abundance, inheritance, and prosperity.
Erica received her BA in Business Administration from Wesleyan College and her MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Prior to starting Prosper Project, she worked as the Senior Director of Global Tax Accounting for a Fortune 500 company, where she traveled to more than 30 countries in three years.
Erica and her husband Doug live in Tampa with their two sons, Jacob, 4, and Nate, 2. They are currently planting a church in the downtown area – C3 Church Tampa - a non-denominational church affiliated with the C3 Church global movement.
